Prodvana

2022

Background

Prodvana formed in early 2022 in response to the dramatic infrastructure issues they had discovered working on global products such as Dropbox, Youtube, and AOL. They realized that the overhead coming from infrastructure maintenance was deeply impacting application engineers who were afforded little time to work on their apps as it was being spent learning and understanding underlying infrastructure.

Solution

Over the course of ~10 months I helped the Prodvana team build a Dynamic Delivery Platform that could replace legacy CD systems by cross-referencing production environments and desired outcomes to chart a realtime delivery path. During my time there the team signed their first design partnerships with major enterprises looking to overhaul their infrastructure tooling.

Product

Founded upon the marriage of product and infrastructure engineering, the tool's design language needed to streamline and reconcile historically complex cloud inefficiencies. I worked alongside c-suite executives, engineering, and stakeholders to design and implement Pipelines, Services, Applications, Organizations, and Runtimes.

Design System

Designed to minimize maintenance, the system quickly accelerated exploration and iteration while keeping everything consistent.
